Abissi is a pair of hand-blown glass lighting sculptures designed by Roberto Sironi and crafted by Murano master glassmaker Simone Cenedese.
The works evoke organic, archetypal forms inspired by lagoon creatures and deep-sea organisms, suspended between biology and myth. Light emitted from the base permeates the glass, revealing traces of marine flora and calcareous deposits, and creating a layered chromatic microcosm.
The project bridges tradition and experimentation, reinterpreting Murano’s heritage through a contemporary sculptural language.
